Registering Your Business with HMRC - MORNING WORKSHOP

Registering your business needn’t be a complex or tiresome exercise. EnterprisingYou have partnered with CHW Small Business Accounting to bring you this free 3-hour workshop where you will be guided by industry experts on how to register for self-employment.

There are many benefits to registering as self-employed including:

  • Giving your business official recognition, making it easier to build trust with clients, partners, and suppliers
  • Self-employed individuals can deduct various business expenses, such as office space, travel, equipment, and utilities, which can lower taxable income.
  • Financial institutions require proof of self-employment registration to open business bank accounts, making it easier to separate personal and business finances.

As you have already accessed the start up support from EnterprisingYou and are at the stage of registering for self-employment, we are inviting you to take advantage of this free workshop.

There will be 2 workshops run throughout the day 09:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 16:30 with a limited number of places on each.

The workshops will be run by Dan Smith of CHW Small Business Accounting.

You will need to bring your government gateway login and password and a method of accessing the HMRC site, this can be either a phone, tablet or laptop and by the end of the workshop you will have a Unique Tax Reference or Limited company corporation number.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day and supporting you in the next stage of your business journey.

As these workshops are fully-funded, businesses are subject to funders' eligibility criteria. Once your place is confirmed, you will receive an email from us with further details.
